OFFICERS

President- Hannah Jones

Hannah has been riding and showing horses for 12 years. She has been competing predominantly as a hunter jumper, but also in western pleasure, horsemanship, and showmanship. Hannah has experience training horses, teaching lessons, helping with therapeutic horseback riding, and has even been an exerciser for thoroughbreds on the track! She is a psychology/pre-physical therapy major and plans to own a stable that offers therapeutic horseback riding in the future.

Vice President- Sydney Poindexter

Sydney began riding when she was nine years old and began showing when she was eleven. She has shown saddleseat predominantly in the Arabian and National Show Horse circut. She is a biology major and plans on becoming a child psychologist.

Treasurer- Delyte Chester

Delyte is new to the horse show world but she is very excited to learn the in's and out's of western horsemanship! She is a community health major and plans to obtain her doctorate in occupational therapy focusing on children with special needs.

Secretary- Ashley Griffith

Ashley is a senior at UIndy with a major in nursing and a minor in psychology. She has been riding for about 11 years but has grown up around horses her entire life. She has been through extensive training as a hunter jumper. Ashley has shown competitively throughout her career and also has experience with helping train various horses and ponies, teaching riding lessons, and working as a groom during the show season for her home town stables.
